My brother in law died today and his 14 year old son was staying with my wife and I. My wife was in a state and could'nt even talk, so I had to tell the boy. I hope this doesn't come across as selfish but if I were you, I would forget my own feelings for a couple of weeks and put all of my energies into the youngster and the wife, God this is terrible and we do all feel for you, I would do the best I could, in making the best out of a real bad situation for them both and when I had time to do so, I would also start to grieve.
