wild rover 548
hi all could anyone give me any tips\info on how to train a longnetting dog .cheers I'm no expert mate but we used to put the long next out in day time, round reed beds, then let the dogs work the reed beds, same with small woods, then when used to it moved onto night time, along railway banks was a good one, be prepared for a few mistakes until the dog gains in experience, not done it for a few years as rabbit population reduced, cut the 100yd net up into smaller to surround sets and leave nets off, ha. good luck Quote Link to post
