Crosman Rabbit stopper/2260

Afew pictures of my Crosman Rabbitstopper which is also a squirrlestopper,crowstopper,pigeon stopper and ratstopper etc etc.. Just fitted a nice new silencer to it and its working great whiper quiet now. My quarry doesnt know whats hit them... The gun itself is a 22. with a walther 4x32ir scope mounted on it, perfectly balanced and fits my hunting needs perfectly!...Comments please.

Nice one , basically the same as a QB 78 aint they ? ( even though the 78 is a copy , i think )

Yeah they are but these run on 1 single 12 g c02 where as the qb78 runs on 2 12g c02s. They are both highly underated guns which can proform very well.

What do these run at? i thought it was something around 9ft/lbs. i have a Ratbuster for a bit of fun and the odd squirrel/rat in the live catch, Its bloody loud does that silencer make much difference?

Well my qb , is running at 11.2 at the minute , i know its different ( but similar )

I wouldnt know for sure having never had it over the machine, but i know its been fiddled with and takes down bunnys at 30 yards no problem which is all i want from a gun. The internals should be the same im thinking, although i have never taken a qb78 apart i would imagine they are quite similar inside. As for the silencer YES it makes a huge difference! Webley also made a rebadged version called the firebolt these all are copies of the original crosman 140 im sure?

Nice looking gun mate The only drawback is they've not made a multishot magazine conversion yet, now then it would be an even better gun for hunting, as we all know it's nice to have another shot ready to finish quarry that did not go lights out instantly or another critter presents itself after shooting the first

You can get a multi shot mag from rowan for the qb , sure it would be the same , or very near .

Ah but thats where your wrong, you can get a multishot magazine for the qb78 from archerairguns from the us and it isnt that expensive either! You can also get a rather nice thumbhole stock for the qb78/crosman..

Wouldnt that be a qb79 then? umm the silencer i required second hand for little money, oringinally made for the king ratcatcher but as they share the same barrle it fits

It's a xs78 but with the 79 adaptor so i get 200 shots per bottle instead of 35 (i think) from the 12g bottles
