SA1Gunner 0
Fox hunters claim more than 300,000 turned up at their traditional Boxing Day hunts http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/UK-News/A...For_Fox_Hunting
ChrisJones 7,975
This was the great quote of the article... Hunt Saboteurs Association spokesman Lee Moon was at the Essex Hunt where he said 20 fellow saboteurs saved two foxes from the hunt.He says the Hunting Act needs to be strengthened with a recklessness clause added for the prosecution of hunts where animals are chased and killed "by accident". "I think most of the 300,000 people or however many it is, very few will be up with the hunt to see what's going on. "But saboteurs are and we can see animals being killed every week. "At the moment hunts are killing foxes left, right and centre and no one seems to care. It is very difficult to get a conviction under the act, the law has so many loopholes." Basically Mr Moon is saying that no one gives a f**k anymore and the hunt saboteurs are trying and failing. They had their shot and they clearly missed the target. If they practiced fieldsports, as kids, they'd have brought more ammo! F*cking Hippies!
Malt 379
Wouldn't surprise me if there was more than that turned out all together.

Missie 1
Boxing day meets are always very well turned out. Even if people don't follow they are there showing support for their local hunt. 300,000 doesn't suprise me in the slightest, when you think of the number of hunts meeting across the UK and Boxing day meets are usually the largest meet of the season. Deker 3,478
Any law will only work at the consent of the majority...when a law has as many holes in it as this one it has little or no chance of being upheld...nodoby knows what to uphold!! The whole sorry episode is a disgraceful waste of public funds designed to appease a few tree huggers, ill thought, ill conceived, ill informed and illogical! Ban CARS...100,000 fox killed on the roads every year, many of then dying long painful deaths after collisions!!
Edd_Wiltshire 9
I have been at the Beaufort Hunt Boxing Day meet for years now and it a great day, really good family atmosphere, and enough port to fill 3 Olympic size swimming pools! This year their were hundreds their as usual, despite the bitter cold. On the downside it means the roads are full of cretins just parking in the middle of the road to open their sunroofs to gawp out hoping to see something, I have a tip for you...get a bleeding horse, get off your arse and get out their. Really annoying!
