GarryN 5
Has anyone used the LIT31 that is being advertised by North East Fieldsports on the site. Feedback would be good as the principal of the battery and the weight makes it a winner if it works a good as the advert. Thanks for reading G. Quote Link to post
IanB 0
Yes one word, great there really light it weighs less than a 7ah battery by quite a bit but its a 10ah capacity... Charges quicker and no battery memory effect... Downside is cost, but they really are a world apart to the lead acids... Quote Link to post
woodga 170
i have used one of these as ian has stated the weight is so much lighter its unreal in fact i thought on first impressions they had forgotten to put the battery in the case i use a blitz lamp and have had some heavy sessions and there has allways been power left in the battery after a hard nights work so no fears of them going flat as ian says the only down side is the original cost Quote Link to post
bill88 6
Im yet to be convinced about lithium battery longevity.Powakaddy ranted and raved about there latest lithium powered golf carts, but withdrew them from sale after 6 months.A friend who works in the golf industry told me the lithium batteries were failing after being charged about 30 times.I think i'll stick to SLA batteries,i have two 7ah batteries wired in tandem and fitted to a backpack, the weight is barely noticable and i have used them to power my striker for several hours or more and have never had to come home early. I'm never more than 100yds from my vehicle mate, I don't worry about batteries either way But when I used to be out on foot over large areas and all night something like these would have been a godsend... Variety is the spice of life... Quote Link to post
GarryN 5
Leave the rabbits in a pile and collect them on the way back is the easiest, you do that with the lamp battery and cause a bit of a problem? :) Quote Link to post

I suppose if you are shooting you can get a few before they disappear but lurchers... wee bit different. Quote Link to post
