Sterry 0
reading up the tracer has loads of accesories, particulary lookin at the handle that you can convert the scope mounted lamp to a hand held, saves buying two lamps then and only for £15 genius. Quote Link to post
green oval 8
Go for the lightforce a far superior beam. It takes about 20 seconds to change to a 50w bulb, job done. Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
Go for the lightforce a far superior beam. It takes about 20 seconds to change to a 50w bulb, job done. Help me understand this one ...why would you want to pay the money for the Striker 170, promptly take the lamp out and replace it with a 50w. Why would you do this when the Lance has a 50w lamp to start with and is cheaper! Why do Lightforce go to the trouble of making these 2 units when apparently if would seem a much more cost effective option to simply offer a Striker with 50w or 75w lamp! Or simpler still...a dimmer switch so you have a massive light option!! I simply don't get this. I run a Deben Max 50w lamp and would never consider a Lance. If I wanted more I would get the Striker with a 75w lamp and dimmer switch, I sure as heck would not buy a Striker and take out the lamp and replace it with a 50w for what may be a tiny fraction better beam than a Deben Max.
