Hunts flushing fox to birds of prey?

Its leagle to kill foxes with eagle owls thats why i have one

it is legal to kill mamales with a hawk and legal to use a pck of dogs in aid to flush game to a hawk

then explain this [how do they get the BOP started ]im on about the law coming along and asking for proof .and they are just starting to train it .

I think he is probably meaning your not going to get away with taking along a merlin or a spuggy hawk or something along those lines!!!

seen our local hunt out with eagle owl..although i never seen it used..as someone said earlier it was aloop hole thing??but from what i ve seen ofv them i d say they d take a fox for sure...darrell.

very good good bit of footage on youtube is it true you could pay up to 5k to 8k for a female goldie (so iv been told ) how much an female eagle owl ?????? i used to fly an female harris.....had some realy good days out ,wish i could of tought her to lamp tho

i personly would not give the owl a chance with a good fox ,if the fox bit hard it would be good by owl ,look at the damage they can do to a good lurcher or terrier.

looks good but it is the same vids over again i wonder just how many times a eagle would let go every time it is bit .i bet the foxs get away more times than not.

that was a great vid, there was a guy down on dartmoor who goes out on horse back with his golden eagle and takes deer would he need permision or is there a loop hole in the law that states eagles are wild .

he was on the local news people pay to go out with him for an afternnon

yes your correct not a merlin or something small like that

 

to train an egal or an egale owl to prove is a matter of being in the correct place a well trained egal that takes hare and deer is full capable of taking fox yes they get bit but the learn early i have see goldies take roe and fox and off to mongolia next year to take wolf with thes birds the power in the birds tallens is like a pit bull the hind tallen is the killer and is about the thick ness of a finger of a man

 

look on youtube and you will see some good footage in mongolia takeing fox wolf ect then come back with you disision

 

cant comment on egal owls as iv never seen any take fox but know they do

 

a fox taking bop first has to take hares by the head then they can move to fox no good taking the arse of it

 

saying a good lurcher gets banged up is a diffrent ball game the two cant be compeared

watch weejohn vid clip and look a 1.35 were the egale takes hold of the foxes head that bird takes the head every time

 

plus if you grab a bird what you get is a hand full of fethers

 

as 85% is fether on a bird

crap, the eagle has a head to .or is its head imune to fox bites and taking hares by the head every time so it learns to do it to foxes as well ,crap .same as the law that allows this to continue ,but ban dogs from hunting the same species,it is even more barbaric . if a dog grabs a fox the fox turns and grads the first thing it can witch is what the dog is holding it with eg head

 

when a bird gets the fox its with its feet so the fox gos for the legs but the wings are mostly in the way so the flight fethers get bit not the bird you can argue all you want you will not win i have run dogs and flown birds i do know the out come of this argument thats me winning and you looseing ::
