fr0gman4 0 Posted December 26, 2008 Report Share Posted December 26, 2008 I am no twitcher but I dont think they are fieldfare or any type of thrush wrong beak and body shape also the longer swept wing in flight not very thrushy the more rounded body and stubby beak reminds me of some of the smaller estuary/shore birds. Some of these birds are also regular visitors inland there is a local footie pitch near Grimsby/Cleethorpes that is covered with Oystercatchers during the winter time for some reason.
