Netter 0
Being bored over Christmas I decided to make a few Knife Blades, and I wondered if there was any call to make a few to sell Hand-forged blade made from high carbon steel with a narrow tang, ready for insertion into your own personally designed handle. Rough Sizes: Blade length: 10cm Overall length: 21cm Blade thickness: 3mm

OldTrapCollector 377
How would you make the handle for it Netter? By sliding on washers of leather/bone/plastic etc and then sanding it down?? How difficult is it to do? OTC

OTC Yes you can do it that way and you get a very smart looking handle, or my preferred choice, you can drill and glue a whole block of wood, with perhaps a piece of non ferrous metal up against the blade (old copper 2p's are excellent for this) then rasp and sand down into the shaped handle of your choice. Not very difficult at all.
