mandog 37
I'm out this morning with my bro, when i'm holding the gun pointing upwards as i climb over a fence. I swung it back towards the floor only to have it fire a round. 5" away from my foot. The cartridge never ejected properly more like got stuck half way when the slider went back . I'm getting hold of edgar and wanting a refund. Piece of crap. Quote Link to post

mandog 37
My mistake i was meant to say gate. Quote Link to post
SportingShooter 0
Doesn't seem anything to do with the gun to me, climbing a fence with a loaded gun is plain stupid. In that case with a gate, I cant see what the difference is? Did you climb the gate or walk through it? SS Quote Link to post
whippeter69 88
Should have have unloaded it, and broken it open ! Quote Link to post

coldweld 65
What sort of workman blames the tools ? Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
it will be more then a foot missing if that hit you ! get it checked mate but in future never carry it over anything loaded you dont get a second chance with rifles or shotguns. even a air rifle can be deadly. i never carry my rifle round the shoot loaded even if im not climbing over anything i have round in the rifle but not bolted. if i need to shoot a fox oor rabbit i bolt it. if it dont get fired i take round out load back in gun but so the bolt need cocking again before a shot take car Quote Link to post
richie 1
might as well add my two bobs worth.... as said before, climbing over anywhere with a loaded shotty or rifle is pure incompetence ! your lucky you never shot yourself, or worst off, your brother ! i owned an escort, i found it bang-on, never missed a beat.. But it is an ESCORT.....just search the history of THL..... I have said before it IS only matter of time before this manufacturer kills someone...and Edgar Bros don't give a S**t!!!!! And bad tools cause injury and/or screw up jobs!! Cut a straight edge with a bent saw, build a level wall with a cheap spirit level, drill a hole with a chinese Bit, etc, etc!! Buy an Escort Shotgun and you will understand!!!! Quote Link to post
