dogs-n-natives 1,182
Next year im going to get myself a lurcher, im hoping it will make me an inteligent field companion, I need it to mark rabbit, and catch bolters, be steady around the nets and ferrets. A good nose and hunting instinct. If it was before the ban, I would have wanted the dog to be a good roe dog, and like you say whin, not mash the arse end up. It would have the chance to hunt up, and course hares but i wouldnt have minded if it wasnt a great hare dog, before the ban of course! I have a specialist lurcher at the moment, which is not everyones cup of tea, but he does the job he was bred for and does it with great style and keen-ness! I would be stuck without him! And I will certainly replace him when he is too old for the graft. Happy hunting all and merry christmas DnN Quote Link to post
