ian 0 Posted December 25, 2008 Author Report Share Posted December 25, 2008 good fishing perch not done it for years stayed at familes on the st lawrence me and girlfreind and famile used to get them in a hole i cooked them not bad eating saw beavers to great fun , never fished for them here as i have the sea 2 miles from house and three salmon rivers estuarys not to far away , all the best got pics of the perch i caut 1 and 2 pounders good little scrap that was just a one off trip as i give up corse fishing as got the sea 2 mins down the road from me but if i was to get fish like that every trip i would sooner start it again Quote Link to post

THis perch is never 3lb!! sorry but i just cant believe... I dont want to argue or sound as if i am knowing everything but i cant beleive it.. I have had 13 perch over 3lb, and 4 over 4lb..... I won perch fisher of the year iin " the perchfisher of gt britain in 1995" i have wrote many articles on the perch, and please come on, that isnt 3lb!! I was trolling accross lomond not long ago, trying out the new minokota electric engine. Moving nice and smooth then, "f... all"!! The pin had come out and the bolt had come off, and the prop sank away!! To say i was ripping was an understatement, luckily, i had the petrol engine or i would have been right in the shit!! lol. 47quid it cost to repleace! Quote Link to post
