Would like to hear from guys and gals around the kent area, just to get a feel on how this part of the country's doing for pigeons. Cheers PK Quote Link to post

clubshot 22
Assist on 10,000 Acres in Hertfordshire The Only way to reduce their Numbers is have several firing points We set up in Different woods - and wait for them to fly between them Best if over 300 for 5 Shooters I has some Lead Goose Shots 50 Grain 1's - Managed to get a passing Flock with 6 Shots Really spoilt their Day for them Many Areas have Shooting Groups for such Day's Might be a idea to set up such a scheme through the Board .......... Cheers PK Just been out today to finalise some shooting rights on about 1600+ acres of land around dover, saw approx 200 seagulls sitting in a field, pigeon wise not alot about probably observed flocks of 30-40, i drive a white Ford Ranger and sat under the flight line and beeped my horn and they kept coming back so it looks like i have a nice area to shoot, few areas of woodland and rolling hills make it nice. Gooner 143
Two of my mates went out last Wednesday had around on rape near Faversham, really large flock. So on Saturday 6 of us set off early so as to be set up ready for the action to begin. Typical after three hours only 3 pigeons shot, they were just not on these fields . Packed up after 5 hours with nothing to show for it. Still may be this week Quote Link to post
