Big bags??

Hi guys just been out on a ferret outing today started out at 9 30am four lads 8 ferrets and by 4pm we had netted our last rabbit we finished with 41 my best total by a long shot a great day out. One set dug to 3 rabbits backed up in a stop end and the same with the next set 3 rabbits backed up never seen this before. Was amazed at how many rabbits where sat up in the hedgerows in the long grass must have moved 15 walking up..!

 

Anyone had any good solid days out with big numbers, my previous best was 11 until today

I think our best was about + with purse nets, longnets, dogs and guns. But my old friend jerald has an average of about 60ish each day. Bloody annoying as he clears the whole of places and dont leave much to breed.

Had a good day last week. ended up with 29 which is nearly double my previous best. fields were still covered in snow, think this was the reason there was more at home. Seemed to have to dig alot out tho. Also had three in a stop end, first time for me, never seen more than one before that.

We have had 7 in one stop end once I was bloody amazed but i was out with probs the most efficient and knowledgable old chaps in Britain

Had a few big bags but lots of little numbers but they add up at the end of the year if you keep pugging away

About 21+ is the most ive had ferreting, had up to 30 with the lamp but thats pretty good around here theres hardly any rabbits about.
