Here is a couple of pics of a dig to my red dog during the week, the dog was found at the base of a tree at 1.5 on the bellman and took an hour or so to get to,, when we got down to him though he was caught on a root so we managed to get him unhooked and dispatch the quarry

Was he caught on his collar and if so? do you think the size of the B & F transmitter had anything to do with being trapped?

Yeah he was caught on his collar but i think it was just a awkward place thats all there was quite a lot of loose roots as it was at the base of a chestnut tree, not sure it was the size of the locater that was to blame
