Thanks for the week ban, gave me time to ponder... 0 Once I was finished pondering I went lamping on the fens.... with me ferret What a night I'll tell yea...... Bought a new lazerlight lamp, is that the make? MASSIVE thing Shop assistant that sold me it said it came with a free barage balloon, is that true? I thought he was extracting the michael so I had him, paid the money, sent his wife a condolence card and left....

 

Anyhow, got on the fens around 1am... just as it was getting dark... :search: Started lamping and straight away, hare 100 yards away... perfect... slipped the ferret and he was on him straight away... half an hour later the ferret was within striking distance of the still sitting hare.. WHOOOSH :stinker: he was on him in a flash.... riding him like Lester Pigott.... :thumbs-up: Off the hare went heading for cover.......... 2 and a half hours later he was still heading for cover... What a chase..... I went through 2 batteries, 3 locators, 1 fishing rod (don't ask) and the course finally finished 5 hours after it began. Brilliant night.

I'm not one for bragging but.............. well, let's just say, he's the best in Britian bar none!!! As I say, don't like bragging..... Usually up here in Scotland he'd have had that hare within 10 minutes but we only have cabbage patches up here like.......
