Lake is still iced over, but opening up some where brooks enter. I noticed a mink had come out on to the ice in several of these places.--Forgot my camera! Quote Link to post

Albert Ladd 0 Posted April 13, 2006 Report Share Posted April 13, 2006 Yes we have a small camp on a pond. Good fly fishing area with 4 ponds all close by. Brook trout, except this one has "Silver char" also. Looks something like a trout without spots. Live down deep most of the year. These pics where taken about a month ago. My grandson is up on the snow drift. Ice should be out in about two weeks if the warm weather holds. 5 years ago the pond wasn't free of ice untill the first of june. Someyears snow from these drifts will still be there the first of July. Quote Link to post
