Hey!! theres f**k all wrong with pink collars!! I have just bought my saluki a dalmante collar for 40quid because she looks gorgous in it walking down the road! She hunts everyday with my 2 other bullx and colliex! And my mate is 25 stone and hard as a fecking brick wall, but he still lies on his couch with his bullgreyhounds and patterdales sprouled all over him!!

Mackem, you think country maids is full of addys, you should try shooting sports its not a magazine its a bloody catalogue these days, nothing but reviews and most of them are by that tit wadeson, reckon he,s batting for the other side as well. Why they dont put a few actual hunting related articles in there i dont know.

Nice one, you will be disappointed mate because all articles are submitted agree to be edited, they "POLISH" them up, you may not recognise your writing, any chance it can bring disrepute or offend anyone or contravene the hunting act leaves them open for prosecution, so hence the nice grammar and stories, I have done some a couple of years ago and know the score from experience. I had about a dozen articles printed in the old-style shooting news when I was an 18 year old kid,cant remember how much I was paid,certainly less than £20 an article because I wasnt a "Name" or a regular writer,I havent bought a CMW for months,the magazines lost its sharpness,just page after page of adverts

used to really enjoy it when it was shooting news, it was jammed packed with real genuine lurcher and terrier articles written by true dogmen like phil lloyd and daergi , bought some damn good pups from back pages,think the cost in the early eighties was 40p, still buy it as cmw,but have to agree it has become a lot more political with a lot of trade adverts,but saying this still find a lot of intresting bits to read,even if some of it is repotious.

Yeah, and lets face it, what else is there to read??? I just keep in touch with events and dates.

 

What it needs is a letters page where we can have our say but like we have pointed out alreready today, they will get in trouble or not print the right letters, just the righteous ones..

I get it every week and the story's in it are just that they are story's I would like to read a true account of what realy happened something like I took my lurcher pup out lastnight for the first time saw a squater slipped the pup it ran right over the rabbit, wouldnt look in the beam ran in to me and put me on my arse twice then finaly coarsed a rabbit and it got away the dog hunted up and f****d off for two hours with me chasing it like a silly twat went home and we had got f**k all in the night gonna try again tomorrow. rather than I went out missed the first rabbit and then cought the next 10 what a good night for this grand little worker heres to many more plesurable outings.
