Tuesday night saw me at a farm i rarely visit this time of year as its a mud bath and the foxes have fair played on the fact .Had a squeak behind the farm and 5 appeared ,one from a bale stack nearby .4 of them were unsafe shots with a village behind and a row of windows for a backstop but one of them kept coming ,so close infact that i shot it freehand whilst still moving .Had to drag charlie out the shit as i wasnt putting my rifle down in that for a pic .Weighed in 20 pound ,another decent size fox .Will try the bales over christmas with the terriers for the rest .

5 appeared at once , I should be so lucky .Looks like a bit of fun to be had over Xmas.

Twenty pounds, that's some fox! Good going FD, you'll have more fun there yet. Got a scales on it's way to me, I would have liked to weigh that light coloured fox I got the last night, pretty heavy.
