booboo 0 Posted December 18, 2008 Report Share Posted December 18, 2008 (edited) 1965 series 2a pickup Tax exempt, MOT, Original plate DWF 432C Ford Essex 3.0L V6 Capri engine with electronic ignition, K&N filter, New Weber Carb, Ht leads, fuel filters and Kenlowe electric fan. Lovely sound once warmed up. Reasonably economic to run, if driven sensibly. Steering guard. Power assisted 109 drum brakes - all new following MOT!! Parabolic leaf sprung with Pro Comp ES300 long reach gas shocks and a 2" lift. Shod with a good set of Colway 235/85R16 mud tyres on 5 spoke steel wheels (originally white, but I have sprayed them hammerite black) - spare unused. Also comes with a set of serviceable Mud & Snows on standard rims. Power Train free wheeling hubs, Fairey Overdrive and RR Diffs for economy. Recently had a new clutch. Fitted with several Series 3 features; such as heater and wipers its got a 2a bonnet, but I also have a series 3 as well (with spare wheel fittings), The truck cab body is in good condition, the paintwork is hand painted in Matt Black with silver on the metal work and around the windscreen and filler cap, rear door hinges and bonnet hinges aswell..... Comes with a modified stick set and a serviceable 90 canvas truck cab rear cover. We also have the front bumper, thats hand painter silver with a red tow ball hitch.. The chequer plating on the front wings is black chequer plate, whereas the 2 in the tub is silver chequer plating, then painted matt black, then sprayed over with black hammerite.
