nguruve 2
do they work to ground if needs be? no hey eric why do you say no ? it states in the breed that they must be able to work underground so if they can do it on the continent why not here? smaller dog might have easier time underground but larger terriers can still work fine underground if they want the fox they will ! get it Quote Link to post
erik 71
must be able and really do are 2 difrend things if you ask me but the owner that had the one i have seen work told that 95% of the dogs are whit boarhunting people Quote Link to post
steezy 1
do they work to ground if needs be? no hey eric why do you say no ? it states in the breed that they must be able to work underground so if they can do it on the continent why not here? smaller dog might have easier time underground but larger terriers can still work fine underground if they want the fox they will ! get it see it like the plummer terrier , plummer is bred for ratting and the westfalen terrier is bred mainly for boarwork ... and in both plummer and westfalen are a few that can do earthwork that would suit you but the percentage of them is much lower than using a mainly bred earthdog from workinglines ! so why lower your own chance of getting what you want if you want a pure earthdog !
