will.f11 24
OPINEL mate, they are a good cheap, but reliable and good quality french knife. Can pick up a No. 12 for about a tenner.
Little Butch 16
Frosts Clipper... Can't beat 'em and they're only a Tenner! Butch

Little Butch 16
An Opinel Is a Locking Knife and therefore nowhere near as strong as a Frosts Clipper which Is a Stick Tang! Butch

craftycarper 0
i always swear by a cheap filleting knife, nice long point and a razor sharp blade, good for getting all the meat off the bone as well. Can get them for well under a tenner, no good for the pocket mind you but ok to chuck in a bag. Get down to you local sea tackle shop and check em out...
Guest AngelicAcid
Ive been looking for a decent knife for a while now, and mora keeps coming up time and time again(frosts and clipper). But there are so many makes and ive been told there are so many snides on e bay, which ones are the real thing? Ive been looking at one that is laminated with both carbon and stailess steel. Any ideas as to which is of better quality?
Deker 3,478
A skinning knife for a bunny ...I have 3 or 4 now I think but a Stanley would do fine...sharp point and short blade....you just need a small cut and nick and then it's a matter of pulling it all off!!! datawrite 0
A skinning knife for a bunny ...I have 3 or 4 now I think but a Stanley would do fine...sharp point and short blade....you just need a small cut and nick and then it's a matter of pulling it all off!!! yea its alright once you got threw the thur and skinn its just gettin thew that. i just want sumthing thats not massive and bulky just a knife that razor sharp and is ideal. frost and operinal are both great knifes but dunno witch one to get also a filleting knife would be great. think i will have a drive in town at the weeknd and have a look round why im doing a bit of cristmas shopping cheers for all the feed back and all have a great cristmas data Edited December 17, 2008 by datawrite
Little Butch 16
Well If you can look after a knife properly go for the Carbon mate as they're alot easier to Sharpen but then again they need Sharpening more often whereas the Stainless you can just chuck away dirty and It won't rust (Well not as easily!) they're harder to Sharpen but don't need It as often as the Steel Is harder... I'd go for the Clipper mate, they're both made by Frosts, Sweden but the Clippers got a better handle In my opinion. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Frosts-Mora-Clipper-...A1%7C240%3A1318 Over the years I've really abused mine (And I mean that!) and It has never showed any signs of breaking... I've split really thick Logs using It, gutted stuff, Carved things with It, Battoned It through bones... Butch Edited December 17, 2008 by Little Butch
