arveyboy 0
i've got one now. had it since december. its great for me, really accurate. the only problem i've had with it is once or twice when you try to re-range something the screen freezes for a second or two. might just be mine but its not a big deal Quote Link to post
woollyback 0
This might be a really simple but stupid question but do laser rangefinders work in the dark used with lamp light, i.e could it tell you a foxes distance while its in the beam from your lamp? Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
This might be a really simple but stupid question but do laser rangefinders work in the dark used with lamp light, i.e could it tell you a foxes distance while its in the beam from your lamp? a range finder will work in the dark it dont need the lamp. trouble is you would need a lamp on if you range a fox at a good distance away. best thing to do is range a tree or a bush thats close to the fox. then you have a ruff range how far away he is. only trouble with most rangefinders is the lcd is in black so you cant see. i have the leica and its in red lcd display and shows up a treat. 400 500 yards easy at night rangeing big stuff where foxy is close to Quote Link to post
