My jrt bitch had a false pregnancy a few moths back and i was at the vets the other day and was told that unless i have her spayed she will have a false pregnancy after every heat cycle, is this the case or is it bullshit??

if she's good enough stick her in pup , they make good broods , and she should settle down its just hormones

thats the thing shes just over a year old and not done much except bushing and ratting, she hurt her leg at the start of the year, which at the time i thought was a hereditory problem, but after a month or two of rest (when she should have been doing more) she turned out fine, with no problems, ill gues ill wait until next year to make my mind up.

had the one bitch with a phantom she didnt have another, the vet just gave her a jab to clear it up.

I have a bull bitch here that has one everytime she go's into heat, i brought her to the vet once about it he gave her a jab and that sorted her out, since then i have left her and it runs it's course

let this one go and then ask your vet for the anti heat jab,last about 5 months and stopped my bitch from the phantoms.

ive got used to phamtom pregnancys in my terriers if i dont breed them they produce milk ,its runs its course no ill effects ive seen .you can give raspberry leaf extract ,and evening primrose helps, if it continues i would spey her when shes older
