i reckon some * BITZA* LURCHERS can give any cross a run for there money also ,

 

i personally prefer a mix of either saluki grey x collie grey ,

or saluki grey x bull grey ,

 

both mixes of lurcher have proved very good at all round game , day or night work , but again , thats my OWN EXPERIANCES .

i love the wheaton hound any ne i have seen working in my area is well bred from a well known line and are all great fox dogs except a handfull of course and suit me to the ground have two 3/4 hound 1/4 wheaton pups on the way cant wait....

ow do lads my opinion is that bull cross is the way forward . my dogs give 100% in gameness and will catch all species . i have had different crosses in the past and now these are gettin harder to beat ! keep the hunting spirit alive fcuk the ban!!!

I love my big deerhound x, great natured, fast, good on big rabbits, foxes and deer pre-ban when she had the room to run, but I have to admit that for many of the fields around here, she's a bit too big and I find a good collie x is perfect for them.

Whin, I am keen to pick your brains, as I may decide to bring on a pup in the summer, if I find one from the right lines. Any bad points about either cross??? Trainability, feet, stamina, speed, inteligence, catch rate, etc..

 

I hunt all ground types imaginable. from steep stoney hills, to arable land.
