its all about preferance , ive seen my old saluki grey x collie grey do as much work and better than some bull x's ive seen run , its all about the dog in itself i think , the bull x is just thing to have these days i reckon , the trend - to me , any dog that knows its game will cope well . doesnt have to be a bull x , never would i knock them coz ive seen some EVIL ones , lol , but to me its all about peoples opinions.

karl as i keep bull crosses i may be biased but the answer is easy - preydrive- a good bull wont let you down - ive used them for lamping and drawing and if hes a good one he wont shirk the issue

I believe that a lot of people genuinely use them as they think they are the best dog for the job they want done and fair play to these guys. But more guys just have them because they want a muscular powerful intimadating looking beast that will rip anything it gets hold of to shreads and the owners enjoy this macho specticle as it makes them feel big. Mostly young chavy type lads. But for the real genuine bull type hunters i reckon it would be the dogs drive and ability to dispatch big stuff with ease. but im sure more experienced lads here will tell you what the bull blood brings to a dog.

iv keped both, bull and collie x iv had a bull x that took deer and fox pre ban,but it never had anymore pry drive than my collies, just more kill power is all and most dont notice pain, always enjoyed my collies, can do anything a bull x can do if bred and trained properly,

being truthful a part from drawing ive saw dogs ive owned first cross tor of dartmoor x greyhounds the colli line i keep ,kill foxes roe hare after hare more handier than some bull crosses and they dont blow up the same , i live in an area you maybe get ten foxes a year unless stubble cubs, i dont rate them , for me the bull cross nice dog but saw better as roe hare dogs on big land , the only plus with bull crosses an idiot probaly could enter them as they are a terreir were it takes a bit more guile with some other crosses , i like the bull crosses but not saw any thta can course and lamp better than what we breed localy , for me an eighth to qaurter is enough , an old freind had some [bANNED TEXT] bull crosses not heavy, lean and would put a show up on a hare, but ive saw alot that were not what i would call good , there will be people who breed good ones but well not saw many , it would be nice to se a good one run along with my saluks and last the nite in big land lamping out of jeep and still be there at the end of the nite , therel be about

buddy i have an old nine year old colli cross bitch sheell go jaw to jaw then you do the nessasary and a saluk same , in the country were it is legal, no bull and ive saw coyote hound lift one of the ground and malky it , but realy anybody thta wants a fite to the end no real dog, man, not lurchers any way as a lurcher is a traditional pot hunter and the more strings on his bow the better ,the dog thta destroys them in there legal land would tiol on daylite haRES ROE BOLTING RABBITS POACHING PHEASANTS ETC what atraditional dog should do
