A real gent, he is a LEGEND and the best about that is he doesnt realise it, not like todays big time charlies, he is from the old school where players/managers where still on the same wavelength as the fans, pity todays lot actually call themselves legends  , the likes of cashley cole could take a leaf out of sir bobs book,.

When you look back he was probably the most succesful england manager since 66.....yet he still got shit from the press.....what we would do for someone like him now, instead we,re now having to resort to people who can barely speak the language !!

Certainly looking a bit fragile of late...hope he hangs on a few years yet the old boy.......nice picture mate

The mans a GOD !! Sir Bobby Robson, Ipswitch and England player; Manager of England and Newcastle; has raised enormous sums for charity, even though he has had cancer FIVE times !! And is a Freeman of both Newcastle and Durham !

How some one who has absolutely no knowledge of football, like you LDR, can meet this legend, is beyond me !! LOL !!!

Cheers :drinks:

yes thats Sir bobby Robson, I saw him play for Fulham, in 1960 or 61 I lived in FULHAM in those days, and the team I think that day, consisted

Tony Macedo, gk, george cohen, won the world cup in 1966, jimmy Langley, won english caps, Bobby robson, Johnny Haynes, capt many times for england, and one of my boy hood hereos, Graham Legget, played right wing come from Aberdeen, and capped for Scotland,Tosh chameberland, as well but I can not remeber anymore, thanks for the memorys, and sir bobby is a true Legend,
