jasper65 6
Should there be one for the 2012 Olymics? X Scotland manager Craig Brown says "I'm opposed to it because, first of all, I'm a very patriotic Scot and I want to retain the autonomy of the Scottish national team," said Brown. Aled 475
As a Welshman, i feel that a one off Football team for 2012 would be fine, provided it did not jepordise existing sporting autonomy. Cant put my finger on it but i'd rather support (which lets face it i do) a crap Wales team than a World cup winning GB team. Would England fans want to support a GB team?. Cheers Aled
Malt 379
I think it would be a good idea, the British & Irish Lions rugby union team manage to band together every few years, why not?
jimmy0211 2
i suppose it wouldn't matter much but the question is: who would be in the team? GK-Shay Given RB-John O'shea or Gary Neville CB-Rio Ferdinand CB-Jamie Carragher LB-Ashley Cole (shame there isn't someone better because i really hate him) RM- David Beckham or Shaun Wright-Phillips CM- Paul Scholes CM-Kevin Nolan LM-Ryan Giggs CF-Wayne Rooney CF-Duncan Ferguson

JoeD 24
The team maybe but could you imagine Scottish and English football fans mixing, NO WAY it's like trying to say West Ham and Millwall are putting a team together and expect the fans to get along or Man City and Man United etc etc so if they do put a team together I would seperate the fans or ban all Scottish folk

For years they've been harping on about lifting the cup and never came near, and with the pool of players at there disposal a joke, sorry but its a fact. All the national hype and.................whistling wind........ I too would like too see a british lions team as well, though when that premadonna Woodward was in charge off the rugby not a single Scotish player on his last tour had a game. Nah lets leave it well alone.
jasper65 6
I would have loved to have seen a younger Ryan Giggs on the left and Roy Keane in the middle. as for the manager they shouldn't look any further than Alex Ferguson .
