Malt 379
Nice one mate! I bagged my first pigeon about 6 months ago. Lifted the gun up, 'BANG!' My first shot with a shotgun for 15 years, and the pigeon dropped. Same with the second, and the forth. Four shots three pigeons, I couldn't believe it! I bet if I went out tomorrow though, I wouldn't be able to hit the proverbial barn door!

Somehow, its obvious you haven't But no, if the bird isn't too badly shot, there isn't much there at all. And, if the bird is overhead, the pellets (especially those from a Goose cartridge) normally have enough punch to go through the meat and into the gut, which we don't eat ( ) Try and get some Pheasants from a Game dealer, see what you think, or better still ask your shooting friends, if they have anything. DevonHunter 0
Ive eaten pheasants and rabbits before but i shot them with my air rifle. Ive just never eaten something shot with a shotgun. But yeah, goose cartriges are different in what way?
