gnipper 6,405 Posted April 22, 2006 Report Share Posted April 22, 2006 When i have shot the ferals inside barns i switch the lamp off just before i pull the trigger, easier if you have a mate with the lamp. When i held it on then some of them got spooked but when its off you can shoot them next to each other Oh yeah and if you want the job sorted then i'll come down with the s410 and im sure my mate would be up for it with his NV on the MFR Gnipper Quote Link to post

Paul in North Lincs 15 Posted March 27, 2007 Report Share Posted March 27, 2007 we used to shift them from an old stately manor at night.....once roosted they didnt seem to budge a great deal..........then again they were fantails that had crossed with ferals.............they were roosting on chimney pots..window ledges and in the castated turrets........easy work with a lamp and airgun!
