Payed a visit to WHINS country.

Friday, a decided, to travel over to WHINS, side of the country, East, scottish borders, we had a good old chat about past and present, dogs, WHIN suggested, we will go and boult a few rabbits, collected, the ferrets up, he had left the hutch door open, 3 nice ferrets, and 3 very nice dogs, Lana, the old bitch,((( my type of Lurcher, Collie x Greyhound, 9years of age, still full of life, a very good bitch.)) Tyne, a good looking dog, and a suluki x bitch.

 

and true to his word, we boulted rabbits, and the old bitch, she was a star act, and the other two dogs got there rewards as well, a very good afternoon.

I really enjoyed, the afternoon, Whin is a true Countryman, and a knoweldgeable, dogman, thank you WHIN, FOR THE SPORT, AND THE CRAIC,

well border i hope u enjoyed seeing dogs work and real old fashioned colli types mate if i new now, back then i would have had a few litts ,as there not many top class colli crosses about not genuine ones freezing fog tonite localy , crap nite for dogs , i used to take her out coursing chase maybe two or three hares give her 4 hours rest going spin a few roe over then sleep it off and away bolting rabbits in morning , just a pity good colli types are rare now , ive traveld far and wide to see simliar but a rarity ,

to honest at times mate for the silly comps and the people who ask so many silly questions and breed the strangest of crosses , my way of thinking craigy good to good none of this chance breeding , i have had a few up to my area even tho some keepers dont agree lol,border lad said it was like going back 30 years to see good dogs who no there job such a pity ,if your not scared to go wherever theres always a nites sport
