Hi lads I went away for the weekend and got a call from the missus saying my fox terrier had broken in to my in heat staffordshire bull terrier bitch. I dont want pups . What are my options? is there any tablet you can get or anything to stop the pregnancy?

Thanks lads. Id spose the best thing i can do is ring a vet in the morning and see what the crack is. I dont think there would be much demand or use for the offspring of this cross would there?

would depend on the size and gameness of the fox terrier buddy...

the vets can give a jab , but it will affect her seasons later

May put a stop to her having pups too. 2 kids i have spoke to in the past never got pups out of their bitch after having this/these injections.

The vets can give you an injection, the bitch can have up to around 12 days after the tie and its still effective, she needs to have twice once a day for two days at roughly the same time. I have never had problems with bitches and later seasons, or problems with pups. The stuff is really thick and stings and its a job to push under the skin but its effetive stuff.

Right lads I brought her to the vet and got the job done only to find that the father had let her out for a piss thinking the fox terrier was in so we think he may have got her again but are not sure. we are going to risk it anyway. If shes in pup do you think any lads would be interested in this type? I use the fox terrier for bushing mostly. He has never been tested to ground. however he does go to ground himself when were out bushing for rabbits. he has also caught and killed around 5 rabbits but this is very rare for him . the staffy also bushes and has a good nose for rabbits. Would anyone have a job for this cross if shes pregnant?
