The reason i ask is i keep seeing bloody pigs, we went camping the other week and they were bloody everywhere & it just seems to be on all my little trips lately i keep getting that sneaky feeling pigs are around.... You know the feeling lol, in some ways i feel like just shutting my mouth & keeping the dogs back but in another way i feel especially with my ab it was made for him but with out a cut vest etc i am probably just asking for trouble ( in fact i think i know i am ) Just wanted to get some other peoples views on the subject? After a good think i think i would probably end up going home without the bacon but with my dogs? Whats Your Thoughts???? Edited December 14, 2008 by richard25

chartpolski 23,346
If you feel that four Bull types and a Spaniel couldn't hold one pig; then your'e probably right to put them on the leads and take them home ! Cheers.
dogman89 0
it would depend on the size of the pig ans if your dogs get a hold of it have you got the right tools with you to quickly dispatch the pig?
richard25 0
Yea i would have the tools but were talking big pig couple of hundred pound and no vest for the dogs & i know usually people would use vest & this is what worries me? i dont doubt myself about dispatching the pig its more the damage it may leave on the dogs for one pig lol what dogs does everyone have? & would they? bullmastiff 615
Give Strongstuff a shout, he'll sort your AB out with one of his extremely hardwearing 'Extended collars!' If not, get the Shooting Permission and give one of the Centrefire lads on here a shout, I'm sure they'll swap half a pig for the price of a bullet!!! Good luck either way!! If either idea pans out then I wouldn't mind an invite! Cheers Luke.
Guest MY LAW
keep it to your self and let them breed ,because as soon as the shooters know they will wipe them out in a short time ,have a go with the muts it more sporting ,
