How about a starter raptor?

I am going to start researching more of this sport. What raptors are a good starting bird for a newbie in the sport, easy to train? or purchase a started raptor? If possible, birds that are easy to get in the USA. Also what you guys think of the hybrids? F1,F2,F3 do you think they lose a edge compared to birds that are from the wild that reproduce? Just looking at all angles, waiting on a reply back from the local club to meet some people close to me. I will do my homework on these creatures because I really don't know what to expect from them. Also could someone post some pics of housing setups and I apoligize for the incorrect termnology. Thanks in advance

As you live in the states, its very different from the UK - from what I believe your are strictly governed by license as to what you can actually posses - in fact I think your furst bird must be a trapped bird? (Someone will correct me if I am wrong)

You would be better off asking the same question on NAFEX
