whippeter69 88
Im going to invest in a new air rifle next year when i have saved enough money up on a brand new PCP air rifle. I have looked about and had looked at various air rifles.I first thought of the BSA super ten and thought it was a bit chuncky so had a look at the Theoben Rapid Mk1, nice gun, but a bit out of my price range( i do not have a job and earn money by going beating and selling rabbits but im still only 14). Then had a look at the S410. Now my sisters boyfried has got one and he showed me it, he shot a blank in the front room and i was highly impresses by the little amount of noise it made and it was a 12ft/lb. I have been watching videos on YouTube of them and find them accurate and powerful. They are just in my price range and i like the reloading system and looks of the beech stock so i would like to here from all the S410 owners out there what you think of you S410 sub 12ft/lb rifle accompanied by pictures would be great, many thanks, Whippeter Edited December 12, 2008 by whippeter69 Quote Link to post

andy s410c 61
There a great gun W.I've had mine over 2 yr now & it's never let me down. It''s a good working gun,in the carbine length it's quick handling & as accurate as YOU are.The weight of the 410c is ideal if you ain't the most strong of blokes like me...but have a good play around with of the other makes of PCP you might find something that suits YOU better Quote Link to post

Grim Reaper 1
Hi whippeter, I was going to reply with a snap or two of mine - an Air Arms S310 (the fore-runner to today's S410 ) but when i was looking at my photos, there do seem to be quite a few! If you want a look, then you can use the 'clicky' in my signature, as well as going to 'my album' in my profile - that way you can veiw those that are of interest to you. I have had my S310 for about 6 years now and it has never let me down yet. I don't regret the day i got it - never have, most likely never will either! My rifle is sub 12ft/lb and operates very well indeed. it is .177 calibre and i use this for hunting on my shoot, and pest control there too - very good rifle which is suitable for most uses you care to put it to - be it pest control, hunting, or even just a bit of target shooting. You couldn't make very many better choices for a rifle, in my opinion. I hope this is of help to you? Regards, Grim. Edited December 13, 2008 by Grim Reaper Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
I have been around a while and know a lot of people in all sorts of the shooting sport....I do not own a 410 but know owners of the 410, Rapid 7 Mk1 & 11 and the HW100 (as well as many others) and have shot them all. The Rapid is still my Number One...Mk11 The HW100 is a Better gun than the 410 for sure, but there is no way I could lugg this around the fields for hours, it is excellent, easy, light to the touch, easy to charge and accurate...Unfortunately it is overengineered german technology in my view and too heavy, so in second place I have to put the 410!! You will not go wrong with any of the various 410 rifles!! Edited December 13, 2008 by Deker Quote Link to post

ulverston moocher 60
I have a rapid 17 mk1 wich I have had for 10 years and its my number 1 but its not for every body a lot of my mates that have tried it dont like it because there front heavy with the bottle I also have had many air riffles and have a s410 classic in 177 and this is the next best thing to my rapid in my opinion price wise weight and performance I think the s410 is the best air rifle on the market IMO as the rapids are dear and people find them heavy I personly wouldnt buy any thing else other than the two I have.
