ellir0305 9
i have only got the one mk4 and i noticed a hlaf eaten apple with rat teeth marks lastnight in the orchard so i placed it down in the tunnen with some apple shaved over the top with my knife and i got a second rat this morning caught perfect by the head. noticed some holes in the compost heap so its set in one of the compartments (about 6'x4') and a poison hopper in the other compartment bloddy rats Quote Link to post

Berriow Bill 0
We had some great old traps from the houses of parliament which just dont catch rats any more.. I have caught 13 in two weeks ...literally grabbed them through roofing membrane and skewered them with my throwing knives... I dont know why but when I see a rat I see red... they seem to taunt me!!!!!! Quote Link to post

Berriow Bill 0
The best one was treading on a large female and impaling it with a ww2 french spiked bayonet... I have had more luck like this as well as stunning them with a pistol then applying pointy pressure... a few people have mentioned whether I have too much time on my hands which I can assure is not the case but any way to reduce the rat population (and rabbit) around here is a bonus.. This forum is a wealth of info though and I just hadnt really any time to post since joining... Keep it up everyone!! Quote Link to post
