Building a new hutch

Im looking at getting some new ferrets, and the hutch ive got in the gardens seen better days.

I could do with a few ideas and was just wondering if anyone has any photos of a recommended type of hutch?

it needs to be big enough four up to four ferrets. I will be building it myself as shop bought ones dont seem to be very strong/good quality.

 

also i will be looking for a couple of ferrets near stockport.

Just get some old floor boards and 2x2 for the frame and build it as big as you can mate it will last for years

Yep will do, i can get wood from work, Ill see whats available for me to borrow!

Has anyone got any tried and tested designs? any photos?

3/4 inch ply screws together fairly well with a bit of wood glue to bond it.

It's deffo strong enough, but a little heavy if it ever wants moving.

I have only limited space in my yard which at the moment is housing 13 ferrets.

I have 3 of these cages, all the same size, put them in the sheds in winter, then they go under a tree for the Summer.

Cheers lads nice hutches, all look stronger than the paper thin ply, shop bought ones,

 

I dont think ill be able to match the quality of stubbys! im a spark not a joiner!
