I always take hind ones off as they are all but useless, and are attatched much more loosely than front ones, but I rarely get them on my pups anyway. The front ones I leave on, theyre there for a reason - Im not a big fan of chopping any bits of dogs :D whether it be tails, dewclaws, balls or anything else :D I like to see them as nature intended.

I have seen a dog with an injured dewclaw, but then Ive also seen dogs with injured legs, bodies and heads, and you dont chop those bits off just incase they might get injured :D
