longnet HELP!!!!

how do you attach hazel pegs to the longnet and so it wont get tangled when rolling it up all comments appreciated

is it a longnet or a stop net mate? use a basket as it is far easier.will put some pic's up as soon as i can to show you how to put the poles on.

you dont roll a longnet up

 

if your using it as a quickset net, then you need a basket, otherwise, surely its not "quick to set"

 

if your using it as a tradditional, then its loaded onto an end pin, a bit like a set of curtains

 

Id suggest getting yourself a longnetting dvd from e bay, it'll give you the correct idea

If you are longnetting quick and efficiently you collect on pins, as then there is no tangles, and it is alot easier to run out and in. and it has less contact with the floor
