Logun gun lamp

Hello i am thinking of buying a logan gun lamp for my rabbit stopper, has anyone had any experience with these lamps? What are they like for lamping rabbits and rats? The one im buying is comming with the different filters and extras. Whats the battery life like?

its ok for rats but i dont think it would have suited me for lamping rabbits.not that i ever tried with the one i had.

now i use a lazerlite with a dimmer,it gives me as much or as little light as i want.

I would need opions of people that have lamped rabbits with it before as thats what it will be used for mainly..review center seems to like it?

Don't waste your money pal they are a pile of crap for lamping rabbits my mate had one and was really disappointed by it's performance. They might be ok for short range ratting but that is it save your cash and keep looking for something else

Ill see how much the lad wants for it near me. Local lad giving up air rifles so..He said he used it for rabbits? around 30 yards?

non filtered theyre ok for 50 yards... filtered, hmmmm you'll be peering through your scope for definate recognision.. but on rats theyre really good red filtered.

 

the battery.......buy a 10 amp lead acid for it... or carry three or more 4 ampers. 20-30 min spouts out of a new 4 amper...dimming towards the end.

 

i think the bulbs are 4.8v diochroic halogens with 6 or 4 degree angle beam or summut, if you find a site that sells them pop the addy up...they aint cheap at logan.
