Guest MY LAW
seen an exceptional dog ,[he was not a young dog and he new what the game was about,] that came of second best to a big stag and was stabed a few times by the antlers , the owner had to have the dog PTS the next day ,the vet could not stop the bleeding , Quote Link to post
snizle06 202
had a dog that got a knock and cut an artery in his chest. nearly bled to death only for i was so close to the vets place. bleeding for about 10 mins vet said another one or two minutes and he would of been dead. couldnt believe he survived and recovered really quickly. LDR 29
Here's a question.......... i've heard countless people that say they wont run their dogs on a freshly cut rape field, for fear of having the dogs stabbed in the eyes!!!! I've ran my dogs in these fields and although the storks do look brutal, i've never had even a scratched face from them..........does anybody actually know of dogs getting blinded by this??? And not just urban myths like my mates mates brothers uncles sons dog done it!!!!!!! Quote Link to post

I have done in the past, but more out of just being there, than intentionally going for the hunt.......... i dont think it makes for an exciting course as neither the dog or the quarry run very well!!!!!
