applying for a shotgun

hi there i am 14 years old and i have recently moved to a 5 acre smallholding in scotland and our fields are full of rabbits and the barns are full of pigeons. could someone please tell me how i would go about getting a shotgun. i own 2 airguns but i am just not managing to shoot anything , could anyone give me any tips.

ill have a good read of that i thought i would have to wait a year to get a shotgun licence

from reading the above link, i think that at 14 you can hold a shotgun and firearm certificate but cannot have a shotgun until 15 but can have a class 1 firearm at 14. this is roughly what i got.
