Guest Tonedog
None of my business but I reckon that's cruel and unusual punishment keeping one dog outside while 11 are living it up together inside. You should just sell him or give him away if he's that much of a problem, or at least find out which dogs he doesn't fight and put them out with him. Or get the dog listener around to see what she can work out LOL. Quote Link to post
Paid 935
Also interessted in finding out a bit more about a borzoi cross, though yours is a huge beast and your daughter wont let you cross her I imagen crossing one to a saluki would produce a fairly fine dog for large game. Guest mush
so how many salukis have you had? As you seem to no so much about them. Quote Link to post

Guest MOLLY
Im sure there are loads of people on here who have one lurcher kenneled alone. Even if Collie/grey didnt work her dogs or only once a month why is that a problem to other people on here. People can post on this forum regardless if they work their dogs or not! Her dogs have probably been out more than mine. My lurcher dog has only been worked about 10 times last season, lucher bitch twice, does that make me a shite lurcher owner?. So why not stop ganging up on Collie/grey and give her a rest ffs, your all like a bunch of school bullies on here at the mo . MOLL. Quote Link to post
Guest mush
now your ganging up on us men  sorry didnt mean it . When people are breeding of none workers or even workers, and having trouble placing the pups they've bred, it pisses people off, as she says the greyhounds are for breeding off, and she's bred off her lurchers .what is she breeding these litters for? its not as if she needs any more dogs, and theres more than enough dogs out there. Guest MOLLY
I dont agree with breeding either, but there are plenty of people on here breeding lurchers cos they want a pup without giving any thought to the rest of the litter. But up till now that hasnt even come up in the thread? People are getting at her for the amount of dogs she has, how many times she works them and kenneling one alone...all these things a huge % of other members are also guilty of. Its no one elses business how/when she works/kennels her dogs. The dogs in the picture appear happy enough. Its like one person mentions something and everybugga else jumps on the band wagon, not just this thread but most of them on this forum at the mo. She is not claiming her dogs are the best hunters ever born is she. Why cant people just live and let live, shes not doing anyone any harm is she? If she is breeding without any thought or care than id advise her to look here.. http://www.lurcher.org/llink/forum/index.php and see what happens to the lucky ones. MOLL. Quote Link to post
Paid 935
I've met the family, there are 3 adults there, all dog owners. So when you break it down like that, there arent really that many dogs. There certainly well looked after dogs, with plenty of space, care ext I'm confused now, I thought it was sighthoundlovers dad posting in this thread Still, back to borzois, I've noticed that most of the russian coursing sites that have borzois, normally have what appear to be either greyhound or saluki crosses taking home most of the coursing prizes, so they seem to be better outcrossed.
