Just a question pal. not meant to be helpful or disrespectful. Just never heard of a terrier entering an occupied earth then coming back out then going back in to do the job. Hope i dont start the handbags and tantrums. The dogs done his job. ?????? Edited December 11, 2008 by jimb Quote Link to post
jigsaw 11,866
My apologies moggs, didnt meant it the way it looked,I have seen a few dogs find the game and they shift around the earth ,the dog comes to the mouth but returns to finish his search and locates his quarry and stays put,but its a thing that happens with some regularity. The thing to watch is when it meets the game and THEN shows at the earth thats a worry. Hope i dont start the handbags and tantrums. The dogs done his job. Iv seen a little bitch do it once used get the foxes to bolt well... I had a little bitch, used to find the stuff, do 15 mins or so then come to the mouth of the hole and look as if she was asking what we were doing. I could call her away or send her back in, if she went back in she stayed till I broke through to her, dug her 7, 8,s and 9,s a few times. They say you get one proper dog in your lifetime, I reckon that was mine, came in very handy in dodgy spots Quote Link to post
