both i use

are 27tts big heavy power houses

ive seen nimble and fast dogs

and these fit the bill of any .

i wouldnt know as regards litter wastage as i havent bred any .

still in my eyes a grand versitle dog ,dogs.

both mine come from tottaly different lines

yet i know what they are, and have got in the pair of dogs.

both work the same both put 100% gut and determination .

also 2 different dogs yet you would think you were working the same dog.

im yet to see one back of anything ,or give up without it giving its all .

also quarry pre ban no problem what so ever .

ive not had the pleasure of watching the borderx as yet .

but i would think they would be more highly strung .i maybe tottally wrong mind.

i suppose if your wanting an out and out full on pulling down machine .

the bull x would be the best option.

but i personally will stand by a beardies temprement and working ability .

day or night .but hey a byast beardie grey owner .and i always will be .

a pleasure to me and a pleasure to watch and work .

its alrite breding alitter what do you do with the shite drown them mate its hard to breed a whole litter knowing maybe only two or three are going to be able to perform on the big land i hunt and the rough land i hunt , i like beardies AS THERE TRUE SCOTTISH WORKING DOGS BUT WOULD NEED TO SEE A FEW WORKING maybe you could bring them up and we can work them and see how they perform , as i dont do chance breeding , and what are the bred ing of yours , will they perform on a hare day a roe nite a fox nite a rabbit day , as the ones we had were pretty versatile , thta we bred but the bitches were just rabbit dogs nothing else ,

kya i take it a know to see them good beardies work all mines are dead my mates are dead got one old colli type maybe beardi thru her , away back , ill se some work some day , got to the nlrc finals with one and so did my mtaes but hid was a better stamp and home bred , better greyhound and a worked beardie

saw lots of hanckock beardies and had one got to the finals of obeidence but not the be all ,worker , no d harcombe fan, daves not a running dog man but he does no a bit about working terreirs i no that for sure , no i would like to see good beardie crosss work nowt wrong with thaT and if they are good maybe get one as my own colli line are old and maybe not breed again so looking for genuine SCOTISH BEARDIE stock as my good freinD adrain had with danny etc years ago , im arealist and i only breed for perfomance not looks or two say ive got that in my dog , i would genuinly like to see them work and if as good as my old dog get one as i am a SCOTSMAN so now t wrong with something scottish as YOU SEEM TO LOVE THE SCOTTISH BEARDIES THAT MY FORFATHERS KEPT, and im not full of wind mate your welcome to hunt any time if you keep handy jukels ,as i am a hunter no theorist , i think d harcmbe knows alot about working terreirs , like i do my lurchers etc

well i havent come into the thread to argue.

and dont no where a days roe and hare would get you other than the nick.

is that somthing thats normally asked in the public forum nowadays.

i came on the thread to pop on alittle positive feedback on dogs ,

i genuinly stand by as good working dogs .

what didnt start as pre ban as they are not pre ban dogs.

so what we looking for to hold my hands up here lol.

iam not fading into the background ,and running either .

i came on to put my feelings regards beardie greys .

and i stand by it .ive also met alot of people in my time .

who want to come out have a day nights fun with the dogs .

yet still havent .iam not somone to just throw people compotition

and bait on the public internet .

going on and having nights out making good freinds and enjoying some sport

is somthing to me thats based on trust and thats very hard to find,these days.

 

as for litter wastage as you say in litters

you get that in any breed of lurcher and pedigree dog .

not all are perfect ,not all are as good as its litter sister brother.

niether are people in any family .we do get difference .

or where would we be in life .be a sad world being all the same in quality.

and is for graham ive not come on here to say bad stuff ,

in every sentence .i popped in to say i like the dogs i work .

nothing more .i always will and not come to slag them of in anyway.

or prove anyone right or wrong.

 

now one im running is 12 month old so give him chance ,

but he has it yes.

 

and other is 18 month just returned from a injury

from over working but come back strong and keener than ever .

they are not of age from before the ban .

but yes quality day and night .with age an time to become better
