Guest little lurcher
i use argos , they paid up quick and without a fuss or increase? just say crossbred and you should get it for less than £8 a month Quote Link to post
Tiff 36
after a couple recent decent injuries, I've been thinking more and more about looking into it ... Quote Link to post

Made 5 claims in total for my two "cross breeds". They increased the excess this year so we now pay the first £60 quid. Defo worth having some insurance, as inevitably the dogs will get some sort of injury along the way, especially as pups Quote Link to post

farlap 19
my bitch is insured, with pet plan pet plan to thank god .had two lots of xrays ,but all fine with sasha now pet plan every time. never a quibble and never stop insuring after a year or an illness. Word to the wise though...if you have either a deerhound or a deerhound bred lurcher....NEVER mention the "deerhound" word as they are a higher premium breed....just say lurcher or cross breed! Hannah4181 260
It is in my eyes as important as worming your dog, all mine are insured with NFU. I claimed for a £1200 bill once, never a problem. A friend of mine a few years ago lost everything after his 3 German Shepards escaped and caused a fatal road accident, the victims dad sued him for everything he had. Worst case scenario i know. . . . . . but you never know what is round the corner. Quote Link to post
