Edd_Wiltshire 9
Hi All, Just bought some nets from KP & S nets advertised in Countrymens Weekly. I have previously used borrowed nets so these are my first bought ones. I ordered 4ft nets and they just seem massive!!! My borrowed ones must of been tiny sized, are these 4 foot ones suitable for rabbits, it just looks like i could catch a bloody hippo with them! The only smaller ones they had were 1 meter so they cant be much smaller. If they are cool to use with rabbits then thats great. Cheers Edd Quote Link to post
Guest ferret feller
yes they will be cool to use with rabbits aslong as the mesh is around the 2" mark then your fine mate.... you know how too set them and all that? Quote Link to post
stubby 175
its always best to have a selection of sizes, sometimes have 2 or 3 holes come out in the same place, a large single net can be placed over all 3 holes Quote Link to post
Guest ferret feller
if you dont mind me asking how much were the nets and how maney did you get? Quote Link to post
Guest Mass_G3nocide
There usually about 3"6 i think and yeah where did u get them i want some bigger nets. Quote Link to post
Edd_Wiltshire 9
Hi, Thanks for the reply. They are 10oz heavey duty Nylon nets, 4ft is the size that i have but they also do 1 metre size. I bought 20 of these and along with 20 wooden pegs and Postage and packing it was a couple of pence over £50. I guess thats the going rate for nylon, around £2.50 each with peg. I am happy with them but they are large but again that will help with the larger holes and shouldnt be too much of a problem with the smaller ones. Actually going out in the moring, only for the second time so i will use them then, cant wait! Cheers Edd Quote Link to post
Netter 0
A lot of the time a big net will catch what a small net wont. But other times a big net can be a liability. Quote Link to post
The one 8,456
All my nets are 4 footers the only time i use 3 footers is if were ferreting in brambles because i reckon they will purse better than the bigger nets Quote Link to post

will.f11 24
its always best to have a selection of sizes, sometimes have 2 or 3 holes come out in the same place, a large single net can be placed over all 3 holes but the bloody annoying thing with that is, they more often slip it, and if one comes out quick, and you arent close by. another could be out straight behind it from the 2nd or 3rd hole Quote Link to post

I met them at a show, and they were real nice guys. The nets i bought of them were 3.6 but for that price i got the hemp ones. The string is long for attaching a good knot to the peg, and the nets are good.... Quote Link to post
Brimmer 220
Net's? Eh? What are they? Sorry just ignore me, I think digging is fun! I do use them sometimes, and like a few have said already, a large 4' net will cover 2 -3 close holes sometimes, pretty usefull. Not had any of these nets, but sure they will be good enough as long as they purse up! Quote Link to post
will.f11 24
surely brimmer, if you dont use nets, you kick yourself when the rabbits bolt? Quote Link to post
