Brimmer 220
If she's been out all day, she's probably had enough, and bieng only 12 month old i'd only give her light work. The dog is probably knackered. Quote Link to post

pedro 39
Are you lamping her on short grass, like golf course, football pitch, playing fields ect?? Quote Link to post
baldockbanks courser 598
if the little rabbit is getting to his hole before the dog can catch it usually means hes moving at a faster rate than your dog. if your dogs not fast enougth theres not a lot you can do. iv had that cross and they are fast maturing and should be at its fasts, if not its best buy now. stick to ferreting or get a new dog! ALAN TANNOCK 0
i think she need to grow more they say they grow till 18 months ment to say when she goin for a squater she try to get it and ends up runner over it lol you think if a took her to grasses feild and try and get squaters and maybe she will learn more Quote Link to post
pedro 39
Stop putting her on squaters then, walk up to squatter, make it move then slip her, put her on squatters once shes catching reguarly, try her on stubble fields or cow/sheep fields where the rabbits will no run as fast as on short grass, good luck wi her Quote Link to post
ALAN TANNOCK 0
thanks that helps Quote Link to post
jackard 36
hold her back abit longet until shes a bit older , start doing a lot of road work with her to get her fit and take her out just to watch , then start her light with easy rabbits , if lamping go out realy windy nights for squaters or short slips in fields that she has a chance of catching tho. that should sort her Quote Link to post
