long netting

thinking of having a go any tips please for long netting with a dog. any book titles and so on. look forward to reading .

IT takes a lot of skill to train your dog to long net but it can be done get the dog to learn what the net is in the daytime jumping over etc then try to learn it not to tackle out in the net by chucking ball dummie etc if you ferret with your dog and youve learnt him not to hold the bolted rabbits you neednt do this and if you aint got permission make sure the dog is 100% on recall and stay. if you can try long netting some warrens when ferriting first and the dog will soon click theres no easy way round learning to net youve just got to get out there and do it its a big learning curve and if you dont prepare itll be shamblesbut it aint impossible.
