arveyboy 0
i should hopefully be receiving my fac within the week and am getting a cz 452 style in .17hmr. ive heard alot of good things about the mtc viper and considering my budget is around that sort of price range i was wondering whether there is a general consensus as to a better piece of glass or not. also while im at it what sort of magnification is suitable? 3-9 or somewhere from 3ish to 12ish? i'd rather use a variable rather than fixed magnification scope cheers jack Quote Link to post

Air Arms S200 0
I just bought the 4-16x50 Viper yesterday which is soon to be put on a .22 Lr, and i have to say i can't fault them, if i had to give a bad point it would be the mounts supplied as there basically crap, and i bought some better ones. But appart from that, there a top scope for the price in my eyes. All the best. Quote Link to post
Smudge00 0
Yeah bud good glass. When I got one I wasn't sure it was going to last having always previously gone for top end glass. I must say in bad light conditions (dawn/dusk) it won't touch my s&b's but I'v had one on my .22lr for a few months and bashed it about a bit and used it for a lot of lamping and its still going and hasn't lost its zero so for the price I can't really fault it. Mr_Logic 5
Viper is a passable bit of kit. I'd spend the money on a Falcon 4.5-18x56 though, it's a lot better than my MTC! Quote Link to post
